Give back to your community through the love of your dog!  Learn how to have your dog interact as a well-mannered member of your family or learn what it takes to have your dog(s) certified through the AKC as Canine Good Citizens, as well as a certified Therapy Dog through Therapy Dogs International, Inc. (TDI, Inc.)  The dogs will be taught to pass the following tests:

Test 2: Sitting Politely for Petting
Test 3: Appearance and Grooming
Test 4: Out for a Walk (walking on a loose leash)
Test 5: Walking through a Crowd
Test 6: Sit and Down on Command/Staying in Place

Test 8: Reaction to Another Dog
Test 9: Reactions to Distractions
Test 10: Supervised Separation
 
Classes will be held on Tuesday evenings in the South parking lot at Vineyard Columbus from 7-8pm.

The Board Room

3rd Fridays, begins Sept 17, 6-9 pm
The Board Room is a fun, once-a-month, game-oriented outreach for teens and young adults (ages 14-25) who have cognitive delays and have the ability to learn the activities or game rules, for games such as UNO, etc. We will meet on Friday, April 16 from 6-9pm in the community center and then begin meeting again on the 3rd Friday of each month starting in September.  Providers must stay with their clients.
