Welcome to the Vineyard Community Center!  

 

How grateful we are to have the opportunity to extend friendship to you through our classes and programs, and we really hope that there is something here that you will find beneficial for yourself or your family. Vineyard Community Center gives all of us an opportunity to allow the love that God has for all of us to show itself in practical ways that will bring tangible benefits to peoples’ lives. Here is one real-life story that really demonstrates what I’m talking about:

 

Over the last three years, dozens and dozens of our GED students have received their GED diplomas. One student (we’ll call him “Daniel”) is a young father who came to our program a few months ago and was determined to graduate. He was a quiet student, but he always came with a smile on his face. We were so proud when Daniel passed the GED exam, but we never really expected to see him again. However, a few weeks later, Daniel walked into the classroom with his children. He was introduced as our most recent graduate and was offered our congratulations. Daniel just smiled, turned to his children and said, “I wanted my kids to meet the teachers that have changed our lives forever. You believed in me and made what seemed impossible possible, and words can’t express how thankful I am.” What a blessing for Daniel and for our GED team to experience the transforming power of God and how, through a practical need such as education, lives are dramatically, deeply changed.
