Our Story
The Vineyard Community Center was launched by Vineyard Columbus in October 2006. The Center primarily serves the diverse neighborhoods of the Northeast side of Central Ohio. Because we exist to support and serve our community, we hope that you might find something fun, helpful, and relevant to your needs or your family’s needs within our vast program offerings.
Our Mission
The mission of Vineyard Community Center is to offer unified and integrated services and programs, in partnership with Vineyard Columbus and other community organizations, to meet felt needs in our community.
Our vision is to partner with Christ to heal the world.
Our motto is building friendships with our city, one life at a time.
The Community Centers welcomes ALL to participate in our programs; no membership is required.
Our Values
Value developing holistic programming – supporting physical, spiritual, emotional, relational, and vocational growth and learning
Value creating environments for all to have fun, make friends, so our city will ultimately flourish as a healthy community
Value mercy and justice
Value seeing lives transformed - meeting people where they are, but loving them enough to not leave them there
Value mobilizing people to find their purpose and calling in service to others
Value building partnerships with local organizations around common goals
Value integrating best practices in services and ministry
Building Usage/Rental:
Thank you for considering Vineyard Community Center for your event. However, at this time, almost all of our building usage is for internal programs. Therefore, we are not able to rent out space for any conferences, meetings, or parties. Again, we appreciate your interest in the Vineyard Community Center and your understanding.
Vineyard Community Center ~ Building Closure Policy Due to Weather Events:
The Vineyard Community Center will always close during a Level 3 snow emergency. Otherwise, please check the home page and watch for updates on local news stations. We will follow the same protocol if there is a need to close mid-day or evening activities. Occasionally, we will specify a closure for a particular program and that information will be posted on the home page as well. Please note that the After School programs close if BOTH Columbus City Schools and Westerville City Schools close.
